What We’ve Learnt: Why We Created Leaders Lounge for New Entrepreneurs

There’s something incredibly humbling about looking back — not to dwell, but to honour the journey. And today, as we open the doors to something very close to our hearts, we want to share a piece of our own story with you.

Years ago, we started Hucklberry with a deep love for storytelling, brand development, and the kind of design that stirs something in your chest. We’ve had the joy of working with over 40 clients across industries and continents — creatives, coaches, change-makers, visionaries. From fashion to wellness, tech to purpose-led solopreneurs. But what we’ve come to realise over and over again is this:

Strategy alone doesn’t build a brand. Soul does.

And if we’re being honest — we didn’t always know that.

Like many of you, we were doing all the “right” things. Following formulas. Trying to stay visible. Tweaking copy, updating visuals, launching and relaunching. But beneath the surface, there were moments we felt stuck, unseen, or creatively blocked. There were seasons where we operated from survival — trying to stay afloat while losing connection with our own deeper “why.”

It wasn’t until we slowed down, asked the hard questions, and began doing the inner work that things began to truly shift.

• We realised we were carrying outdated stories around success and worth.
• We uncovered fears we didn’t even know were shaping our decisions.
• We started honouring alignment over hustle. Integrity over urgency. Soul over noise.

And that — that deep inner excavation — changed everything.

The way we showed up in business. The way we spoke to our community. The kind of clients we attracted. The ease and joy we began to feel again. The clarity in our voice and vision.

It wasn’t a marketing fix. It was a mindset and soul shift.

Why We’re Launching Leaders Lounge

All of this led us here — to the quiet idea that began forming many moons ago: What if we could offer others the same kind of clarity, grounding, and soulful guidance we had to dig so hard to find?

What if we could create a space not just for building brands, but for becoming the kind of leader who can hold that brand with integrity?

Leaders Lounge is the answer to that question.

It’s a 14-week guided immersion for aspiring soul-led entrepreneurs in the idea phase — those sitting with a seed of purpose they’re finally ready to water. It’s for the visionaries who know they’re here to build something meaningful but don’t quite know where to start. It’s for the brave hearts whispering, “There has to be a way to do this differently.”

A Season of Becoming

We’re calling this our Season of Becoming — because that’s what this work is. A slow, sacred unfolding. A return to truth. A redefinition of success, impact, and leadership from the inside out.

This isn’t about rushing to launch or faking confidence for the algorithm. It’s about building from your truth. Knowing your voice. Trusting your gut. And learning how to lead a business that feels as good as it looks.

We’ve poured everything we’ve learned (and unlearned) into this. Not as experts on a pedestal — but as fellow travelers who’ve walked through the fire and found our way back to purpose.
