This is good

I was listening to a coach named David Ghiyam the other day, as I was doing his 30-day programme, and I meditated on the phrase, “This is good.” I listened and visualised everything that could possibly be perceived as good, even though it feels like it’s bad — it really isn’t.
I remember always sharing that life shows us which areas to work on, what our next step is, and guides us every step of the way. This is how the universe works for me personally, and it’s something that I deeply resonate with. I am shown which area of my life I am working on, which lessons are coming up, and which choices are in my highest outcome. I think all of us get guided in this way, but so many of us have become disconnected from the life force, this intuitive connection, because we are all just trying to survive. Life happens, and it pulls us away from this natural sense of always being in communication with everything around us.
Not Knowing Where You Are At Is Okay

There is such an intense amount of pressure that comes with being a Founder, and yet there is often this expectation that we should just show up perfectly whole all the time. We are expected to know what we are doing, know where we are going, make the right decisions, keep everyone motivated, keep the business moving, create opportunities, deal with rejection and still somehow show up online as though we have everything under control.
But we are human.
The Leadership Signal You Keep Ignoring: Contraction vs Expansion

Most leaders are trained to think their way through decisions. You weigh up the pros and cons, you consider timing, you look at the numbers and you try to make the most “logical” choice. But alongside all of that, something else is happening in real time. Your body is either opening or closing in response to what you are considering.
When you begin to pay attention to that response, leadership becomes less confusing and far more honest.
Why So Many Creatives Stay Stuck — And What It’s Really About

A lot of people delay because they feel like they need to go “all in” immediately. Launch the full business. Drop the full project. Execute the full vision. But that pressure alone is enough to keep you stuck.
Hustle vs. Alignment: Listening to Your Body and Soul

Hustle has become the measure of success. Push harder. Work longer. Do more. But constant survival is exhausting. When we ignore the signals from our body, when we bury the quiet urgencies in favour of “just keeping up,” we pay a price. The light in our eyes fades. Creativity becomes stuck. Energy becomes transactional instead of generative.
We Didn’t Start With Much—But We Started With Fire

Mpume comes from the township of Lamontville in Durban. Saskia comes from Lavender Hill on the Cape Flats. Two different places. Same story in so many ways. We didn’t grow up around entrepreneurship. We didn’t have access to rooms where strategy was casually discussed over tea, or where generational wealth softened the edges of risk. What we did have was something far less visible – but far more powerful. We had mothers who carried worlds on their backs.
Single mothers.
Women who made a plan where there was none.
Women who held homes together with faith, grit, and an unspoken agreement with life that said: “No matter what, my children will keep going.”
And so we did.
The Truth I Didn’t Expect to Face — When Admiration Turns Into Idolisation

During a recent planning session with Saskia, we found ourselves deep in conversation—not about strategy or upcoming content, but about the unspoken power dynamics that can quietly shape our relationships with mentors.

The Soul’s Blueprint: Aligning Your Business & Personal Brand with Divine Purpose

There’s a reason your ideas won’t stop nudging you. A reason your dreams refuse to stay quiet. A reason your spirit rebels against the “normal” way of doing things. That reason is your soul’s blueprint—the energetic map imprinted in you before you took your first breath. It’s the essence of your highest potential, your purpose, and the impact you’re meant to make.
Now, here’s the truth: when your brand or business aligns with this blueprint, it moves differently. It flows. It magnetizes. It doesn’t rely on force because it is in resonance with who you are at your core. But when you build outside of it? When you follow outdated business formulas that don’t feel right? That’s when the struggle kicks in. The burnout. The doubt. The resistance.
YOU are profitable!
